Updated: Apr 27, 2023

PuffN Pretty’s PuffN Parlay is back at cha again! We are proud to introduce our latest podcast and blog series, Who's PuffN Pretty in the City?

In our monthly series, we look forward to bringing sophisticated kickback vibes with boss women while highlighting their journey to success in the cannabis industry.

For our first podcast, we’ll be chopping it up with the creator of Who’s PuffN Pretty in the City and CEO of PuffN Pretty luxury smoking accessories brand, Tracey Schultz.

Along for the ride is the host of Who's PuffN Pretty in the City, Shawmeeka Noland, CannIWork.Org cannabis blogger!

During the show, we'll cover topics such as women and trends in the industry, share highlights from our journey, and all the tea about the Who's PuffN Pretty in the City Podcast.

Women in Cannabis

According to the MJ Biz report, across the United States, just 19.9% of cannabis businesses are owned by women. The report stated women reigned over 36.8% of executive positions in 2019. In 2021, the number fell to 22.1%. This is below the national average of 30%.

Cannabis is a space that has been traditionally male-dominated, but women are yet present and needed in the industry more than ever. We want to highlight canna-women's stories in the industry and #support other canna-premoms in the space.

Why Podcasts Are A Thing?

There were over two million podcasts estimated in 2021, and their numbers are rapidly growing. There are also close to fifty million podcast episodes you can listen to and over two thousand herb-related podcasts on Spotify alone.

In an age where we are bombarded with information, podcasts have become a poppin' way to get information in bite-sized chunks. Keeping us informed of current events, as well as being time-efficient, is one of their most important benefits.
